E-Verify
Federal law requires employers to complete an Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9) for all new employees. New employees must provide proof of their identity and authorization to work in the United States. E-Verify is an Internet-based syem stthat compares information from an employee's Form I-9 to data from U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Social Security Administration records to confirm eligibility to work in the United States.
